The pollinator garden has plants that are attractive
to butterflies, bees and other pollinators. A variety
of plants were chosen to ensure that nectar and
pollen were available from early spring through
late fall. We also included caterpillar food plants
to ensure that butterflies had somewhere to lay
their eggs while plants with pale blooms that open
at night give food to night-flying moths.
Try growing pollinator plants like violets, asters,
coneflowers, wild roses, lupines, pearly everlasting,
milkweeds and evening primrose in your garden.
