Butterflies flying in a group are often referred to as a kaleidoscope, due to their many beautiful colours!

HOW YOU CAN HELP

Our community research project needs your help to record observations so that we can map Monarch flight and roosting areas. Use the sign-up form below to join the Kaleidoscopes! Then, scroll down for a video and simple instructions to join iNaturalist and start collecting observations of Monarch butterflies. This project runs every year from August through mid-October!
