Your digital image should be saved as a .JPG between 2 MB and 10 MB in size. The file name/label must have a suitable title. Unfortunately, we require high-resolution files and cannot accept images smaller than 2 MB. It is not possible to resize an image to make the file larger. If you're using a digital camera, the file size is determined right at the beginning; however, you can change the settings on your camera to increase the amount of information and detail stored and take larger file sizes.

9. What are the categories of the WILD’s Kids Photo Contest?
There are no categories. Photos must feature nature or outdoor scenes — from wildlife and plants to insects, landscapes, and everything in between. There are no specific contest categories; we encourage kids to capture anything in the natural world that inspires them. Photos should be taken outside and reflect the beauty and wonder of nature through a kid’s perspective.
10. Does my submission have to be Canadian in content?
We are looking for Canadian plant and animal species along with Canadian landscapes. Species that are not native to Canada, such as giraffes or kangaroos, or non-Canadian landscapes, such as tropical beaches, do not qualify for the CWF Photo Contest.

Although zoos and farms are great places to see some of Canada’s species, a picture of an animal in captivity does not qualify for the CWF Photo Contest.
