Managing Rights-of-Way for Pollinators
A Practical Guide for Managers
Goals of the CWF Monarch (and other Pollinators) Habitat Restoration program include:
- Building partnerships for conservation action for Monarchs and other pollinators
- Increasing the scale of habitat restoration along ROW corridors
- Building a network of ROW managers (roadways, hydro transmission lines, solar farms, railway lines) for pollinator meadow habitat restoration
- Providing a forum for technical training in habitat restoration: by ROW managers, for ROW managers (webinars and workshops)
- Working with Hydro One, Lanark County and the National Capital Commission to conduct a pilot project on restoration techniques for ROW in eastern Ontario
