Deborah McWilliams is a wildlife nutritionist and founder of Canada’s Accredited Zoos and Aquariums Nutrition Advisory and Research Group. She is the Senior Wildlife Nutritionist for the Canadian Association of Zoos and Aquariums (CAZA) and is responsible for product development for CAZA Wildlife Nutrition. Her specific expertise is identification of nutritional pathology and the dietary requirements of captive wildlife based on wild feeding ecology.
Deb provides consulting services, workshops and training in wildlife nutrition and has worked with zoological institutions and wildlife organizations internationally for nearly two decades. She published the first edition of “Applied Zoo Animal Nutrition” in 2010 which is used by zoological institutions in seven countries. She is also the editor of a publication called “Wildlife Nutrition.”
