Become a Wild Educator

By taking part in an introductory training , you will not only receive a copy of our WILD Education activity guides, you will also experience the activities firsthand and learn how to adapt them to your specific curriculum needs.

Already have a group of educators interested in training together? Contact us directly at CWFeducation@cwf-fcf.org to organize a private workshop for your group.

These four- to eight-hour workshops certify participants in Project WILD, Below Zero and/or WILD About Sports. All workshops are delivered by a certified WILD Education facilitator who will showcase a variety of activities from the guides and train you on how to use them to their full potential.

While workshop agendas may vary depending on the facilitator and on participants’ needs, participants will experience a sampling of activities from the WILD Education program(s) featured at the workshop, get to know how the activity guide is structured, and share strategies for adapting the activities to different learning contexts.

• Hands-on experiential learning through both indoor and outdoor activities
• Direct experience using the guides and adapting them to your specific curriculum needs
• Opportunities to network with other passionate environmental educators
• Detailed instruction manual(s)
• A wealth of additional resources designed to complement the activity guides
• Instructor certification
