Facilitator Workshops
This 10-hour professional development course will give you the experience you need to lead your own WILD Education workshops for other educators. You’ll gain experience showcasing a variety of activities from the Project WILD, Below Zero and WILD About Sports guides, and you’ll learn how to conduct a needs assessment and adapt lesson plans to participants’ specific curriculum needs and instructional settings — whether they’re in a classroom, outdoor centre, or urban or rural environment.
You’ll also get to network with other passionate environmental educators and discover a wealth of additional resources, ideas, tactics and activities you can use to help educators make the links between wildlife and nature.

- Hands-on training in best practices for adult education, group facilitation and workshop design
Prerequisites: You must have completed at least one Project WILD, Below Zero or WILD About Sports Introductory workshop to participate in facilitator training.
