August 16th at Turtle Jack’s Muskoka Grill in Port Carling
Seven of the eight turtle species in Muskoka are at-risk. The Canadian Wildlife Federation has partnered with a local, like-minded organization Scales Nature Park to launch the Saving Turtles At Risk Today (S.T.A.R.T.) Muskoka Turtle Project to help these at-risk turtles.
Swing by Turtle Jack’s Muskoka Grill in Port Carling, Ontario on Saturday August 16th from 11am to 3pm for an outdoor fun-filled afternoon of turtle related activities and help support at-risk turtles in the Muskoka area. Meet REAL turtles, learn how to properly move a snapping turtle across a road, enjoy eco-friendly arts and crafts, face painting and much more! Find us outside Turtle Jack’s on the grassy area. Admission is free.
